Our Mission
Patshahi Daawa New Zealand is dedicated to defending and promoting the human rights of Sikhs worldwide. We raise awareness about injustices, support victims of persecution, and advocate for accountability from governments, institutions, and international bodies. We stand firmly for civil liberties, religious freedom, and the fundamental rights of Sikh communities everywhere.
Organise peaceful rallies, campaigns, and community actions to expose human rights violations against Sikhs, especially in India.
Give the Sikh diaspora in New Zealand a united voice to address issues of injustice and discrimination.
Work with international human rights organisations to strengthen the global movement for Sikh rights.
Support evidence-based reporting, documentation, and public education on Sikh persecution.
Patshahi Daawa New Zealand strongly condemns the historic and ongoing Sikh genocide, including:
The 1984 Indian state-sponsored genocide against Sikhs
Decades of enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings, unlawful detentions, and torture
Systematic discrimination, censorship, and attempts to silence Sikh political expression
Targeting of Sikh activists, journalists, and community leaders worldwide
We work to ensure the world does not forget these crimes and that justice continues to be demanded through democratic and lawful activism.

We stand firmly against any form of Indian government interference in New Zealand—political, diplomatic, or covert.
This includes:
Attempts to intimidate or monitor Sikh activists in New Zealand
Pressures placed on local organisations or leaders regarding Sikh political expression
Propaganda campaigns aimed at suppressing Sikh voices
Threats to the safety, freedom, or democratic rights of New Zealand Sikhs
New Zealand is a free, democratic country. Sikh advocacy, political opinion, and human-rights work fall fully within New Zealand law, and we oppose any foreign attempt to influence, threaten, or silence our community.
Patshahi Daawa works to ensure Sikh New Zealanders can speak freely without fear.
Patshahi Daawa New Zealand functions strictly within the law.
We promote peaceful, democratic, and non-violent activism.
We do not support extremism or any illegal actions.
Our strength is community unity, transparency, and disciplined advocacy for justice and human rights.
Partnerships strengthen our ability to bring global attention to Sikh issues.
